Parent Passes are for any Parent alongside the purchase of a Youth and/or Junior Pass (limit 2 Parent Passes per household). For example, if you are a family of two adults and two kids, you will purchase 2x Parent Pass and 2x Youth or Junior Passes. You can also purchase the Parent Pass as a single adult with one or more youth/juniors. You can also buy a Parent Pass as a single parent of a Grom (no Grom Pass purchase required).

Loyal Parent Pass (Parents of Young Adults & Students 20 & younger) - If you were a passholder in 2023 and/or 2024, you are entitled to a Parent Pass when you have a 20 and under Young Adult, and you are purchasing either a Student Pass (for a student 20 & younger) or 18 - 20 Years Young Adult Pass for your child. This pass is not available to people who were not a Chill Passholder in 2023 and/or 2024.
Chill Full Season Passes offer great value skiing and riding all winter long. New Zealand's ultimate multi-mountain ski and snowboard pass.
The Chill Season Pass accesses 13 Ski Areas on the South Island; Porters, Cheeseman, Broken River, Craigieburn, Temple Basin, Mt Olympus, Rainbow, Hanmer Springs, Mt Lyford, Fox Peak, Mt Dobson, Awakino, & Tukino.

Adult/Senior/Student/Parent Pass/Young Adult - $55

Age Groups
Adult: Open Age to 65 Years
Senior: 65 Years or over at 21st August 2025. Proof may be required.
Grom: 5 years and under at 21st June 2025
Junior: 6-10 years at 21st June 2025
Youth: 11 years - 17 years at 1st May 2025
Young Adult: 18-20 years at 1st May 2025
Student: Full Time at a Tertiary Institution in New Zealand or Australia during the ski season (proof of full-time enrollment must be shown to obtain a student pass, student ID is not sufficient proof of full-time study). The onus is on you to provide us with sufficient proof eligibility for Chill Pass rates where required. If you cannot provide sufficient proof, a pass will not be issued and we have to ask you to upgrade to a pass at the applicable rate.
Pass Warranty - Chill offers a series of warranties that provide the flexibility to transfer the full or part value of your pass to the following year should you decide the snow conditions are not to your liking or if you obtain an injury early in the season. For Pass Insurance Terms & Conditions click here, please read carefully. Please note, Chill Season Passes are not refundable under any circumstances.
The Parent Pass is available for sale when you purchase a Youth and/or a Junior Pass. The price of the Parent Pass is quoted for one parent, and a second parent pass must be purchased for another parent.
The Grom Parent Pass can only be purchased when a Parent Pass is purchased and there is a 5 years and under in the family. You can only purchase one Grom Parent Pass per family, and it cannot be purchased on it's own, it must be purchased with a Parent Pass.
A birth certificate will be required for proof of child's age.
- A junior ages 6-10 years at the 21st June 2025 and youth 11-17 years at 1st May 2025.
- A Grom age 5 and under at 21st June 2025
Note: With the Chill Season pass you must purchase a Youth and/or Junior Pass as part of the Parent Pass mix. There is one exception, if your child is under 6 years.
The Parent Pass gives you unlimited access under the same terms as the Adult Season Pass.
